Cimlogic, specialists in digital manufacturing solutions, are delighted to announce the launch of a new energy management solution, an additional module to their comprehensive suite of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions.
Built on the core TrakSYS™ platform from Parsec Corp, Cimlogic’s energy solution monitors energy usage (water, air, gas, electricity, and steam) in real-time, to help global manufacturers improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, strengthen corporate social responsibility status, and achieve sustainable manufacturing.
The solution enables manufacturers in industries such as Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Consumer Packaged Goods to contextualise energy usage data with production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Built-in data collection and reporting capabilities allow users to accurately predict the demands on energy to reduce overproduction, whilst optimising production time to minimise overall energy consumption.
Real-time system alerts empower frontline workers with the information needed to make corrective actions to support a lower cost to manufacture, along with other benefits such as reduced waste, and cost savings.
