The role

The Analyst will be required to aid the successful deployment of Cimlogic’ s solutions. This will consist of being actively involved in Pre-sales consultancy, functional and technical requirements gathering through to successful value realisation.

Cimlogic has developed a mature and highly differentiating methodology for the effective development, deployment and adoption of Digital Solutions called RAISE™. RAISE™ has been refined using years of experience and best practice gained over many real-world MES engagements.

The Analyst will sit within the RAISE™ Centre of Excellence and report to the Head of operational Excellence. The Analyst will normally work alongside one of the team’s Business Analysts but can work directly with the Project Managers or a Pre-Sales bid manager to deliver Digital manufacturing Transformation solutions or pre-sales consulting and design.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysing customer requirements and generating user stories, ensuring it meets the client’s business needs, value and ultimately tackling real business challenges.
  • Join customer meetings/workshops to gather requirements.
  • Documenting both software and business processes.
  • Assist in onsite end user training and support the business to achieve a seamless transition to new systems.
  • Join internal team meetings with developers and architects to work on the solutions.
  • Attend post implementation reviews to gather customer feedback on our project, solution and value achieved.
  • Understand and agree with the customer the success criteria and a reasonable test plan.
  • Any other additional duties as required to fulfil the role.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Analytically minded with a 2.1 or above from any degree discipline.
  • An IT or Business-related degree will work to your advantage.
  • Full clean UK Drivers licence.

Work environment & main challenges

  • A genuine passion for what Cimlogic is aiming to achieve as an organisation and a willingness to balance one’s time between the many demanding areas which require attention and focus.
  • Travel to UK & global client and partner sites – sometimes extended hours may be required to be worked.
