Vacancy: Service Delivery Manager

Gone are the days of ‘break/fix’ being enough in a manufacturing environment where technology, software and data has never played such a pivotal role. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to help Cimlogic further establish and provide proactive ‘customer centric’ support through industry best practice based around ITIL. We work with a large number of world class manufacturers, and thrive on helping our customers improve productivity through best in class software solutions, and to complement this, comprehensive support. You will transform our service offering in line with best practice, implementing procedure and practice internally and ensuring our team are on the journey with you. You will work across our entire customer base, and be involved throughout the project delivery phase to design with the customer, transition and then deliver comprehensive support. This is very much a customer facing role - you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be communicating at all levels with operations, engineering, IT and management. You will be the escalation point for incidents and the face of Cimlogic for service reviews and reporting. You will be able to put together and present convincing business cases through written communication and presentation skills, in order to confidently portray the important value of a well-structured service delivery model. You will negotiate, work with and monitor remote parties who we will (at times) contract to assist us with support undertakings.

You will currently be working as a Service Delivery or Service Transition Manager within a professional services organisation, that provides support agreements to external customers.

You will understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and will need to understand how to apply ITIL (Ideally V4) to an agile working environment.

You will have a proven track record of all aspects of the service delivery lifecycle using the ITIL framework.

You will have setup and negotiated service contracts. You will be familiar with reporting KPI’s internally to our board and externally to our customers.

You will need the authority to be able to deliver results, ensure that teams get to root causes, have tactful dialogue with our customers and be able to decode IT speak into words that our customers can relate to.

About You:

We work with and serve inspirational people who want to be world class performers. You will need to fit right in and play your part in this.  You will need to inspire our customers about the value of a well-run service offering.

We are only interested in action oriented candidates; our work goes beyond the theory.

You will have 5+ years’ experience of working within a professional services organisation manging an external customer portfolio.

Your normal place of work will be at our headquarters in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. You will be expected to travel to customers' sites, some of which will be overseas.
