Cimlogic Recognised as ‘Cream of the Crop’ at Business Awards

Post by Claire Healey on Wednesday 2nd July

Cimlogic has scooped two awards at the annual Telegraph and Argus Bradford Means Business Awards. The firm was named Employer of the Year and awarded Business and Technical Innovation of the Year 2014.

The awards recognise businesses that have forged ahead in some of the most challenging trading conditions for decades. Cimlogic was given the awards in recognition of its position as a market leader in meeting customer needs and for its commitment to employee development and well-being.

The firm was named Employer of the Year based on staff feedback, which highlighted a commitment to providing the best working environment, people development and training programmes whilst demonstrating a genuine care for the health and well-being of its workforce.

The company also scooped the Business and Innovation of the Year award for delivering innovative technology solutions that solve customer problems and challenges. The judges were impressed with the way in which the firm helps improve customer efficiencies, significantly reducing costs whilst maintaining performance.

Director, James Sykes, attended the awards ceremony on 7 June with members of the team. He says, “Receiving two awards is fantastic, and reflects all of our hard work. We encourage open communication amongst our employees and have an innovative approach to providing solutions for clients, which we believe gives us a competitive edge in our marketplace.”

Based at Salts Mill in Saltaire, Cimlogic specialises in industrial automation and manufacturing execution systems. The firm relocated to larger premises at Salts Mill earlier this year, doubling office space to support its growth ambitions. Currently employing 32 staff, the business plans to expand its team further by the end of the year, grow turnover by 25% to £2.6 million and achieve Investors in People accreditation – a further reflection of a strong commitment to developing its team.
