Lead Software Engineer – West Yorkshire (to 34k + Overtime)

Due to expansion in the MES department, and continued growth of Cimlogic, we have a position for an exceptional Lead Software Engineer with the correct attitude to direct a team of several young IT professionals.

In this role you will take responsibility for a range of projects and manage the successful delivery of innovative SQL driven web based solutions to our clients, as well as the day to day support role which we also offer.

Being able to get the most from your team is key to being a successful in your role. You will need to demonstrate this ability from the start, and manage IT projects, through the full life cycle using ones own abilities and the skills of your team. Organisational skills and common sense are essential for this role.

You will be customer facing and have to spend a good deal of your time interpreting the needs of our clients, and translating these requirements into effective reliable solutions. Some travel around the UK is required for this role.

Cimlogic is expanding, and will be growing rapidly over the next 2 – 3 years, and so this is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to develop their career as a Lead Software Engineer.

Specific requirements:-

You will be a hands on recent graduate, and have a minimum of 3 years strong technical experience and a complete understanding of most of the following:-

• Visual Studio 2005
• Microsoft SQL Server (Oracle as well is an advantage)
• C#, .NET, IIS, TSQL, Classic ASP, Java Script
• PC Literate, some knowledge of networks, and advances in PC technology.

An advantage would be experience in the following:-

• AJAX
• Object Orientated Programming
• XML to store and Structure data
• Creating and Consuming Web Services.

We specialise in the development of MES solutions for the Food and Beverage sector of industry, and so experience in this sector would definitely be considered a great advantage.
