Customer focused industrial OT, OEE and MOM solutions
Established in 1997 and based in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, Cimlogic has worked with some of the largest and most successful manufacturers in the UK. Cimlogic offers a reputable service, utilising the latest technology and employing highly skilled professional engineers from a variety of backgrounds within manufacturing and software development.
The main focus areas of our business and drivers of World-Class Manufacturing are: Operational Excellence; Operational Support; Operational Technology and Manufacturing Operations Management.
Operational Excellence is an element of organisational leadership that stresses the application of a variety of principles, systems, and tools toward the sustainable improvement of key performance metrics.
Operational Support provides peace of mind and asset protection, from pre-concept pilot studies to Continuous Improvement, software maintenance and updates, performance data analysis, training and consultation.
Operational Technology (OT) is hardware and software that detects or causes a change through the direct monitoring and/or control of physical devices, processes and events in the enterprise.
Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) is a methodology for viewing an end-to-end manufacturing process with a view to optimising efficiency.
At Cimlogic, we pride ourselves on being an extension of your team, we don’t just provide the software – we continually explore ways to improve your manufacturing processes, – which is why we’re trusted by global brands such as Amazon, Weetabix, Mars, Wrigleys and Heineken to deliver their industrial Operations Technology requirements.
Cimlogic’s impeccable reputation for customer retention is earned through exceptional customer service, project delivery and solutions that deliver on expectations and investment.
Cimlogic is the UK and Ireland certified integrator for TrakSYS™ MOM software, owned and developed by Parsec Automation Corp.
Continuously improving your manufacturing processes
Cimlogic offer a multi-faceted approach that will build on the success of your manufacturing processes, actively seeking out ways to improve your production facilities and subsequently increase your bottom line.
At Cimlogic, it’s our job to provide outstanding Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Operational Technology (OT) systems that enhance the productivity of our customers, but we realise that with time, new challenges will present themselves and therefore requirements might change.
We promise that if a new challenge should arise, our team of skilled MOM and OT specialists will deliver an innovative solution, managing projects from concept design, implementation and commissioning, in order to ensure that your manufacturing processes are always of the highest standards.
Our commitment to our clients means that we’ll work with you on an ongoing basis to continuously improve the quality and results that our manufacturing solutions can offer.
Under the guidance of Directors Mike Hodge and James Sykes, our team has grown to nearly 40 and consists of experienced engineers, manufacturing IT specialists, project managers and other key staff who all bring a wealth of skills to the various disciplines that the company offers.
During his 5 years as a Control Systems Engineer at Mars, Mike identified many possibilities to improve the overall benefits that Operational Technology, OEE and MOM systems could offer to the manufacturing and distribution industries. It was clear that there was a need for improvement in reporting on production metrics, alongside the advantages of utilising emerging technologies such as web technology, communications, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), databases, and systems integration within the manufacturing environment.
It also became evident that there was a lack of customer care and ongoing support available from many manufacturing IT companies; limiting the scope of their industrial Operations Technology solutions only to then charge for extras in order to meet the customer’s expectations seemed like sharp practice – so Mike decided he wanted Cimlogic to do things a better way.
A better business model for manufacturing IT services
Cimlogic has worked hard to define its objectives to ensure added value and service excellence by following these important tenets:
• To provide fixed price OT and MOM projects – no added extras
• Dedicated to all projects, regardless of any challenges and to alleviate stress for the customer
• Nothing is too much trouble; customer satisfaction is paramount
• To offer a wide range of technologies and link them together for the most efficient outcomes
• To constantly keep up to date with all OT, OEE and MOM technology in order to always provide the best quality possible
